Luis didn’t exactly agree with Lucy’s version of the story. Not even close.
When she brought it up, expecting him to take responsibility, he pushed back almost immediately.
According to him, those paw prints couldn’t possibly be from his dogs. His reasoning? The size.
He pointed out that his dogs are pretty big, and the marks left on the concrete were noticeably smaller. In his eyes, it just didn’t add up.
He even seemed a bit confused by the accusation, like Lucy had jumped to conclusions way too quickly.
And to be fair, if you’re convinced your dogs couldn’t have made those prints, it probably feels a little unfair to be blamed like that.
So now the situation’s a bit of a mess.
Lucy is certain she saw his dogs on the driveway. Luis is just as certain the evidence doesn’t match. One is trusting what she saw with her own eyes, the other is looking at the physical details and saying, “That doesn’t fit.”
And just like that, a simple driveway turns into a full-on neighbor dispute.
